"Free Trial"
In most cases, if you're not currently an active member, StopSign will be in free trial mode. StopSign will still detect the presence of viruses, spyware, and other malicious code on your computer, and you'll see the results of the scan at its completion, but any threats found are not automatically cured in free trial mode. If your computer is infected, you'll have the opportunity to purchase a membership and cure the infections.
-
"Active" membership
An active StopSign membership will allow Threat Scanner to scan and cure threats including viruses, spyware, and other malicious code that can affect your computer's performance. Upon completion of the scan, Threat Scanner will automatically begin the cleaning process to cure threats found on your system.
If you are an active member, but your StopSign software indicates you have to pay for a cure, you may simply need to reactivate your membership.
To determine if your membership is active click here.
If you need to renew your membership, please contact us.
For more information on activating (or reactivating) your membership click here.
-
"Expired" membership
An expired membership will continue to scan for up to 30 days, but any threats found will not automatically be cured unless you renew your membership. For more information about available membership plans please contact us.
